Can't find the official thread, looked several pages back, and also did a search. Ah well. Shin, if you find it, feel free to merge.

Just wanted to say that after Watching Familly Guy (from Sunday 11/2/08) on the DVR, I was pleasantly surprised that on Fox HD, there was a PS3 commercial for Mirro's Edge in one of the early breaks, that was really of excellent visual quality (and the music still awesome btw)

I forgot there's a demo on the PSN store. I'm almost finished downloading it now. I think it's going to be a sleeper hit. IMO.

Kinda frustrating at first because everytime you fall you have to watch the other girl go through the motions again. Other than that....pretty fun, also pretty short.

Mirror's edge is actually my next PS3 purchase. I think it comes on the 14th of November over here.

Mirror's Edge will be my last game purchase for the year. Bought like six in the last couple weeks, and its chewing into my movie purchases, lol. Next will be Killzone 2.

The demo is short, but very cool. Everyone check it out.

this demo was excellent. it's like no other game out there. i see a lot of possibilities once you get really good at this game.

The demo looks cool, but for me the gameplay was beyond meh.

imo for the PS3 alone there are at least a dozen new games I'd rather own than this one.

The UK's Official Playstation magazine gave it 9/10 so sounds like it's an ok game

I have it on pre-order and after playing the demo and seeing the review I see no reason to change that.

Thats cool! Do they talk about the lenght and the replayabilty of the game?

I liked the demo, it left me with wanting more and that's a very good thing. I like how it plays, how it feels, controller lay out is funky but I will get used to it. I think it will be cool.

Sorry didn't read the review, just looked at the score

They also reviewed Resistance 2 in the same issue (which I did read) and they also gave that 9/10, so if Mirror's Edge is just as good as Resistance 2 it can't be bad

this game is a rental for me, unless of course it's too long to beat, AND it gets really great review.

man... too many good games coming out, and i can't seem to unglue myself from FIFA...
