PS3 E3 sizzle trailer? - Blu-ray Forum

first off i want to sat that i am useing an HDTV and all of my settings are all correct
i was wondering for you guys who have an HDTV and have Down Loaded the E3:07 sizzle video from the PS store noticed that during the rock band part some of the screen is cut off like this

also the bottom of the screen is cut off on the E3:07 warhawk trailer

I dunno if this is the case, but sometimes they use video taken with a camcorder instead of recorded directly from the feed. I don't know why Sony would do this, but it's a possibility.

Maybe your TV has overscan. Most consumer grade TVs do. That would cause the picture to appear to be cut off on scenes.

It's not cut off on mine, looks like your TV has some overscan. Is it a CRT?

im sure it dosent have overscan i talked to the guy at the best buy and he said it dident and you know whats funny
they games that appere to be cut off alll have a screen adjustment option
like i saw a trailer for lemings and it was cut off and i DL the demo and there was a screen adjustment option
also in the warhawk beta a litte bit of the screen was cut off and i could adjust the screen
and maby this will be the case with rockband

All of the warhawk videos I have ever downloaded the HUD's have been cut off.

ok i was in 720 p and that wasent the problem
i put it to 1080 i and when i selcted screen mode (orignal) it wasent cut off

dose that mean my tv has overscan or is it jsut the way the trailers are compressed

i called bestbuy and told them and they said it was overscan and there sending a guy out to fix it via the servace menu
