Default The "9" Thread

I'm surprised no one has started this one yet. So, i guess I'll get the ball rolling, at least for those interested in this animated movie. Screen shots below are from the BD. The first 11 shots from the "BD" logo to where you see sorta a countdown of the characters are from the menu down to the second green glowing 9. It's a typical Universal menu. Nothing too fancy. The rest are caps from the actual film itself. It's a very dark film. Reminds me of HP and the Half Blood Prince in terms of look.

$27.99 is a bit much for this one, I'll wait for about a $10 dip in price before I get it. Did think it was the best non-Pixar animated film I've seen in a good while.

Man I loved the dark moodiness of this film. LOVED it. I may be alone in thinking this, but the part when
[Show spoiler]Somewhere over the Rainbow was played
was just brilliant in its bizarreness. The architcture and detail were fantastic.

How did you snag the Blu early?

I also loved "9." Just wish it had been a bit longer. This one I will want to see again right away regardless of price.

Well, we had a pretty long thread while the movie was in theaters--

And yes, we made the Little Big Planet and the Abe's Oddysey jokes there, too:

I never saw this in the theater but I thought it looked very interesting. I'm looking forward to the blu-ray release, but I'll Netflix it before I buy it.
