Default Cheapest Sony Receiver that supports HDMI audio/video passthrough?
Hi folks. I'm trying to find out which of the Sony STR series receivers will support passing audio through hdmi to the receiver's speakers. I almost bought the STR DG520 but then read on Amazon people saying that they couldn't pass audio through the receivers speakers but only to the TV via HDMI. What's the point of having HDMI on your receiver if you can't get the HD audio to come out of it? I don't get it. Anyway, looking for some help in what to look for. Thanks!
