Hi, has anyone heard of a movie having the same EAN / UPC but different region codes?
There is a German Blu-ray I'm wanting to buy on ebay. I've seen pictures of the blu-ray rear cover on amazon.de and filmundo.de and chatted with some one that owns the Blu-ray, who has confirmed that it does have the ABC logo. Amazon.de also lists the release as "All Region." However, the ebay seller states that his copy is only region B despite listing the product with the same EAN included on this forum, amazon.de and as pictured on the rear cover. I tried questioning this and sending a picture, but he refused to provide photo of actual item and I suspect information is getting lost in google translate. You're probably wondering why I don't just buy it off amazon.de. Unfortunately it's OOP as well as the US regular DVD. So just to reiterate is it possible that two different releases with different regions have the same EAN/UPC or would they have to have different ones?
