School Assignment on BD?

Hey, first post, first thread here.

Well... I'm a year 11 student, and i'm working on a business assignment where we have to choose a product or service and develop a marketing plan for it. And I decided to do Blu-ray's
anyway, i would just like to know what you people think about BD's and the Blu-ray disk players.
your interests, what made you want to buy a BD player
and possibly your age, (15-19's, 20-24's, 25-29's and so on)

ps., i've also researched about BD's for a while, i just want to know everyone else's reasons they have bought one and a bit of their personal life so it can help em with my marketing planning and etc, also you dont HAVE to post your age it si jsut to help me thanks alot,
