Default Are there bad BD players?
My machine was manufactured in June 09. Bought in Aug. Since I've own my Sharp BD player, I've had to do 1 updgrade, only one avail. from their site. This resolved issues I had with Iron Man title. It cost me 250.00, with my last payment due this month from QVC. It is a 2.0 unit.
Since then, I'm waiting for another firmware update to play my Snow White Diamond ed. Disc one has menu erroring, and disc II loads, but won't play at all. Now, my Transformers II has issues w/ freezing up FF last 3 featurettes and not playing music video on 2nd disc at all. My Speed Racer title froze up 8 min. into film. Am I just unlucky with poorly produced discs, or is my BD player crap? I'm rapidly getting turned off to this format. Anyone?
