United Kingdom Harry Potter - This year or next?

I was going to put a pre-order in for Harry Potter 1-6 which comes out Dec 7th. But I keep thinking i've waited this long to buy a single Potter blu ray and if its worth me waiting one more year.

The 7th movie is the last. Problem is I can't think of anything else I want for Xmas viewing at this time. There is a 7th disc which I can discard in favour of the last movie whenever that is released.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harry-Potter...5424848&sr=8-1

Its cheap too considering what people must have spent on the individual releases. Choices choices.

Always for a complete boxset, always.

I bought the first five individually and regret it now, seeing as the artwork on the sixth will be on a grey background and not black like the previous.

The last movie is going to be split into two movies. So that means two more discs and another 2 - 3 years before any complete box set comes out

I'm waiting for the complete boxset before purchasing any of the HP's. There is plenty of other releases to keep me satisfied until they are released.

OR, get this edition:

It's got spare room for the last 2 movies.

As there will be another movie released in the cinema next year which is the second part of the last book then you are looking at another 2 years for the Complete Boxset on Blu-Ray. If you can wait that long I would say it was definately worth it seen as you have waited this long.

Do you know the name of the set? I've looked everywhere including amazon, and I can't find it.

It's weird that thát version is French only.
I mean, usually it's one of the major countries a huge edition like this would be released in.
Like the US or UK of course.

I still wish they would release it with just the drawer-thing...
Would save space and money...

I've been seriously considering it. I don't normally get special editions, but I love the HP series (mostly because of the books).

Well it is nog in France only. It is coming to Germany and The Netherlands as well. So perhaps it will be released in other countries as well.

There is space left for the last 2 films. So you can make this edition as a complete Harry Potter franchise.

I was tempted with the HD DVD suitcase set a few years back (it's a great looking set) but then you think, well they will release another set for the next film and then another with the one after that! it's never ending! Personally I'm hoping the Ultimate Editions will get a UK release and I might buy each film separately. (No doubt there will be a box set for the Ultimate Editions!

I don't consider it that...
Perhaps only because the French for some reason all need separate releases
completely based on the French language so consumers understand.
No offense, but it's true...

Also, I usually leave out all countries besides the US and UK.
Otherwise you might include Germany for example too.

What I meant was, that... you know how most expansive editions usually come from the US or UK.
Like say 'Blade Runner' with the briefcase, people just import those types of editions from the US.
Only, funny enough that one's got a German version too. lol
But I guess this (the "HP"-one) is one of the special editions for the more European countries or something then.

Jeezzuss... No thank you. I just looked up how much that would run me, and I could buy a very nice tv for that price. Thanks for the link. Wish I had that kind of money to waste.

According to the info posted on this site, they'll be Region A. Although we still have 2 months before they are released, so I don't think anything has been confirmed.

They're Warner titles. I highly doubt that'll happen.
