Question Rotten Tomatoes only has an HD DVD section? Why?

As far as I can tell, the movie review site, rottentomatoes.com only has a high def section for HD-DVD. They do not mention Blu-Ray anywhere! Does anybody have a clue what's up?

Apologies if this has been discussed before. If so, please post the thread. I am new here. Thanks.

Rotten Tomatoes was bought out... ahem, sponsored... by Toshiba, Microsoft, and their ilk. It's as simple as that, really.

If that's the case, I'm not surprised.

Thanks, Wondermaker.

So, when I see a BD section at the RT site, and BD titles coming from Universal, I will know this format war is finally over.

Actually it's over and these guys won't admit it yet.

In fact, that HD reviews, let alone DVD reviews, should be there at all on a largely movie-review site, would be some hint that they're taking their self-advertising there they can get it...

Seems they can't spin the lousy numbers for most Universal releases.

Yeah, so as suggested in this thread, please click the Contact at the bottom of the RT page and send a message to ask them to include Blu-Ray!

Ya I noticed that before some one must be paying them.I know I sure would be some pissed off if I read the hd dvd shit they have there and was sucked into buying one with out any bluray info. I believe this war is not a war about formats it is about stupid people if I read one more time( both hd formats are the same rrrrrr) it just drives me nuts. They are not the same! The picture in picture stuff that hddvd has as homer simpson would say BORING. I want the best picture and the best sound money can buy= bluray

Sent them an e-mail as well - definitely seems a little suspicious that on their HD DVD "guide" they don't even make a mention there is another format out there.

That's funny, because they had a blu-ray ad for the five free movies when I went there and clicked on their HD section.

I just sent them a comment as well.

It's a shame when high traffic movie-related sites do this. That's why I love The Digital Bits. They back Blu-Ray 100%, but they're not afraid to mention new HD-DVD releases.
