Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray Disc Player

I like the new stand as well, not only aesthetically, but also because your TV seemed to be way tooo high before. Now everything looks much better.

As far as the wife.....well for those of us that have one, we all have to negotiate in some way to come to an agreement.....all you can do is try to reason with her and meet in the middle. This HT game is pretty addictive, and upgraditis is very common. If your wife is unwilling to meet you in the middle for any purchases or placement of your gear, this hobby could prove to be quite a frustrating experience for you. Good luck, you may need it!

The new TV stand is much better "fit" for the room if you ask me. The old setup had to have been hard to keep looking up so high IMO. Its nice and neat which is also a good sign. Very nice!

yeah.... I almost always prefer "furniture" to "T.V. Stands" Besides.... with a stand like you have now, it's easier to "kid-proof" which is very helpful!

Our T.V. stand in our living room is open, which causes problems.... but we wanted it because our new home doesn't have a fireplace mantle etc... to put photos on like our old house..... and we didn't want to put a small stand, and a bunch of shelves...

You can tell we used ottomans to block the path from our son.... but he's since figured out that he can move them

not a good picture... but here it was when I finally got it into the house!
