United Kingdom Iron Man being shelved? What's happening?

I was thinking of a new Blu-Ray to add to my ridiculously small collection, and finally decided on Iron Man, remembering that recently it was at prices like £10 on Amazon. So I went to Amazon first, and they themselves are no longer selling Iron Man. Thinking nothing of it, I tried Play.com. And it was on there, for £23. I even tried HMV.com, whom I seem to remember was either the same or more than Play.com. So I decided against Iron Man. When in HMV, I came across Iron Man, in the clearance sale, for £10. I had to leave it, but I plan to go back for it this Tuesday, and hopefully the offer hasn't run out / stock has ran out. But why is there a shortage on Iron Man? Surely a blockbuster film such as this wouldn't go unnoticed, especially with Iron Man 2 out this October on Blu-Ray. Anyone have a suggestion as to why to purchase Iron Man now you'll be lucky to grab it under £20, if at all?

I imagine they'll be reissuing it when the 2nd arrives, and stocks just dwindling on the original pressing. Hopefully an Iron Man 1+2 boxset comes out, as the Batman Begins/Dark Knight one hit £20 pretty quickly.

Now that you mention it, I found this while looking for the original: http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...k/Product.html Not a bad price, but if I can pick up the original in the HMV sale for £10 and then Iron Man 2 for £15, I'll save a fiver and have the seperate movies seperate, which is 'how I roll'.

Will all be down to the forthcoming release of Iron Man 2. Suppose retailers may look at it like; if you're going to buy the 2nd, and you don't own the 1st, then you'll be willing to pay more to attain it.

Hey buddy, since you are in England, do you ever go to the used blu-ray chain store, CEX? They got tons of used Iron Man blu-rays for sale: http://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=5051368203331

They got stores all over England. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend this store. Over half my blu-ray collection is from this store (they have stores in New York too)...

Iron man can be found in plenty of places including amazon, sure it isn't actually amazon selling it bu that doesn't matter.

Try here though

They are owned by the same company that owns 101cd.com also. Any of their sister sites will do the trick as they all ship from the same place.
