I love Jerry Goldsmith's theme for Rent-a Cop that's played during the opening credits, even if it's unsuitable for the film. It's very romantic. Check it out at 0:00 till 3:40.

Yes, Kino Lorber is waiting for the new HD master. If they get it, then they'll release it within 3 or 4 months, I reckon.

I need to go back and try to watch this one again. I remember trying to watch it once and giving up before it even hit the 30 minute mark. I think I went into it thinking it would be along the lines of "Sharky's Machine" and be that good as well but it just wasn't from what I remember. I will try to give it another chance to see if 1) I can get through the whole movie and 2) see if I can find some redeeming qualities to it.

You can't compare it with "Sharky's Machine". "Sharky" was one of the best movies in Burt's career.

This really IS a decent enough movie, but IMHO the music just does NOT go with it at all - it becomes annoying, to the point that it (nearly) ruins the film.

I only need a blu-ray release of "Shamus", Best Friends, The Man who loved Cat Dancing, Switching Channels and "Tempted".

"Starting Over" and "Paternity" will be released shortly on blu-ray.

I like "Tempted" from 2001. I would buy it on blu-ray instantly.

I don´t need "Lucky Lady" or "W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings" and "Stroker Ace" and "The Man who loved Women have been already released on blu-ray (Australia).

My Burt Reynolds blu-ray collection is nearly complete.
