USA Total Recall (remastered) with lossless audio & special features

Who else has been waiting for this?

It was released numerous times on DVD, so it's kinda weird that the US hasn't gotten a new Total Recall blu-ray by now. T2 already got that Skynet edition and an Endoskull limited edition.

I love Total Recall, but the current US version is not acceptable. I want better PQ, lossless audio, all of the previous DVD special features and maybe some new ones (PiP would be nice).

Yeah and I want a pony.

Seriously, I want a remastered edition as well w/ special features. Awesome movie and it deserves a good transfer.

Buy the UK release.

It doesn't have extras, but it has lossless and better picture quality than the US release.

Default Arnie on Blu Ray

Total Recall, Terminator 1 AND True Lies both deserve kick ass BR transfers and all the extras available. I don't understand how Arnie films can be sold with such terrible existing transfers!

Is the UK version for that region's players ONLY? I've already got a US region player and I'm not about to go out and buy a region free player for just one movie............sorry.

The disc is region free, meaning it will play just fine in your player.

There are versions of the US disc (with the extras) that are available for pennies on the used market.

Buy the UK disc (which has FANTASTIC PQ/AQ), add a cheap US disc, and make your own 2-disc set.

That's what I did... you won't regret it.

I already own the UK Blu-ray release and the Region 1 DVD Special Edition. Would be nicer if a new release had extremely high bitrate AVC, it is a short-ish film, the DTS-HD Master Audio from the UK Blu-ray, the extras from the DVD and all-new features.
