bd at hmv, cheshire oaks, uk

i was doing some saturday "therapy shopping" when i ventured into hmv music store at cheshire oaks outlet retail park and was instantly drawn to the bd section

so much choice and variety it was untrue

just to the side was the unmentionable other, cheaper, nastier and inferior competitor. my attention was drawn to the lack of titles offered by the "other side"...so i counted them. title for title. the results were as follows

in second and last place was the "other side" with only 31 titles available but the clear and unanimous winner was bd who had 102 titles and this far outways the "other side." so i couldnt resist and bought 2 new bd films for me and mrs. looics to watch on saturday night.... "blackhawk down" and "planet of the apes". i am sooooooo lookin forward to tonite. in fact im gonna logoff and goto bluray heaven right now.....

Black Hawk Down is an AWESOME encoding, and an great movie.

I have the DTheater of Planet of the Apes. It looks great, but it was a disappointment as a movie.
