WAC to the rescue again. I watched this so many times when I was growing up, but to my shame I probably haven't seen it for at least a couple of decades now....

I haven't seen this since my Betamax player died. I still have the tape somewhere in storage. Definitely purchasing this.

Wow, this is excellent news. Big fan, watched it my whole life and never got that DVD-R version. A pressed blu will be just what the dr ordered

No, I was being serious. I think I have one or two 'Warner Archive Collection' discs and they are DVD-Rs. I was under the impression that the whole line was like that... Made on Demand crap.

The Blu-rays are all pressed discs and some of the TV shows on DVD are pressed as well.

I hope they don't just throw this on a BD as is. It deserves the same treatment as The Last Unicorn, which has already had 2 US releases and I own both.

More than ready to throw my money at this one, cause I love Flight of Dragons

Almost every Warner Archive blu-ray release is a brand new 2K remaster.

In terms of PQ, I would have high expectations.

It might not have the same level of extras as a Shout release, however. Some of the WAC releases have been light on extras. But they are almost always top notch PQ/AQ.

Surprised that one hasn't been released. It's in hdx on Vudu but I'd certainly welcome a blu.

I dig the style of the animation as it was obviously done by the same team who did 'The Hobbit' and 'Return of the King'
