Default Secret Window?

If this movie has been discussed before, please just point me toward the thread. If not, your input would be appreciated. Is this movie worth buying. I really like Depp and Turturro, but i'm under the impression that it may not have any rewatchability. What do you think?

I personally liked the movie. I bought it on Blu-ray but haven't watched it yet so I can't speak for Blu-ray quality... (saw it on DVD twice)... different, but a good flick. I like a handful of Stephen King stuff... went and saw 1408 tonight. That was quite good!

I recently bought the blu ray version and I thought this movie was really good. The picture quality of this blu ray is absolutely fantastic as well.

It is definatly a good movie...although its not the best movie out there and the ending is some what unoriginal (still suprising though) it is definatly worth seeing. I also saw 1408 and that was awesome...John Cusack did a great job!

I like Johnny Depp but, I have this one on DVD and I never watched it a second time.
It's okay but it certainly doesn't stand out.

Secret Window has the same basic story line as The Dark Half. I've seen Secret Window but I wouldn't buy it on Blu Ray.

No, it's not a horror movie it's a thriller, but it's very bland.

It can’t be worse than Perfect Stranger.

Forgot all about that one. I remember seeing it in the theater and it was nearly empty. Even the cover art with Bruce staring at Halle is pretty silly.

It is associated with horror because it was written by Stephen King, but it does lean more thriller than straight horror. And it's a very capable movie, but mid-tier for King and Depp; it's far from bad, though.

So that means it has horror elements?

I wonder if this movie will ever get a 4K treatment. I can see Sony releasing a steelbook but not sure about the demand.
