Default can an HDMI cable make a difference?

ok so i guess this topic has been discussed over thousands of times but i thought i would ask anyway. Can you get better quality using a higher end HDMI cable? Or are you gonna get the same quality with everyone?

Same quality with a $1 HDMi cable as with a $100 HDMi cable.

According to the results of this test done by audioholics, some higher end cables showed an improvement over some cheaper ones on long HDMI runs.

The $1 cables aren't shielded usually. If you have power in the wall or another cable running next to it, it might causes issues.

I usually go with the $10 cables just so they are shielded.

Always use shielded and go with more expensive cables for long runs.

a friend of ours was using a dynex cable and his picture wouldn't come in. He had to unplug the cable from both ends and plug it back in. That proved to me there is a difference in cables
