Default Lost Season 5 takes too long to load

Has anyone noticed that Lost Season 5 takes too long to load, much longer than other BD? I wonder if the problem is inherent with this particular title.
How long does it take to load with your player?

I just finished watching 1 - 5 on Blu, and didn't find S5 any more or less loading times than the others, except for the Lost University feature, which does take a bit to load (especially initially).

Have you upgraded your firmware lately?

I have all of the seasons and didn't notice this on my player. Are you sure you weren't just in a hurry to get back to the island?

It doesn't take too long to load, but I am endlessly irritated by all the legal warnings and logos you can't skip... something common to all Disney/Buena Vista discs. damn lawyers

Mine was fine. Not any longer than other discs in my collection.

I have to say the FBI logo/warnings actually go by quite quickly on these discs, it's the stupid "This disc may take 2-3 minutes to load...update your frickin' firmware" message that annoys me. It's up longer than any other message, and is simply outdated - most of us have decent enough players that even the most intensive loading of a disc still tops out at under a minute.

I use a PS3 for all Blu-Ray playback and I have to say I've not noticed any problems with load time, you can use the FFW and Skip Ahead buttons to skip anything you don't want to see and the stuff you can't skip doesn't take long to go on its own.

I've also watched LOST Season 1-5 fully and none of them have any issues.

Haven't noticed anything. I've been using the 5th disc for the Lost University feature a few times and didn't think the load time was worse than the other seasons.

I didn't notice any delayed load times with my S.5 set. I still can't believe I haven't set up my Lost Univ. account. How is it?

It's fun! I took my first few classes yesterday and can't wait till tomorrow to continue (some of the multiple-part classes make you wait two days in between). It isn't the fastest application I could have hoped for, but once he video content is playing it is fine.

What I like so far is that the first semester has enough classes to be interesting and feel like more than just a neat way to showcase extras but no so much that a few hours over a week or so isn't enough to finish.

I'd hop on board now - semester 2 starts Jan 15!

lostuniversity.org

They have an easy forgot password thing - I had to use it. What you really need is your student ID # and PIN to access the content on your player. Make sure you upload a pic -it's quite neat to see it on your class schedule on your Blu.

I usually just make myself a snack while I wait for a disc to load. Hate wasting time just as much as I love food.

been wondering that too, because the original menu with Taweret in the background is kinda kickass, that white menu kinda gives me a headache
