Default Toy Story 1 & 2 $27.99 Each (AMZ) ...

However if you own the ultimate toy box DVD's note that they are currently selling secondhand on the Amazon Market Place for $45+, which means even after amazon comission and shipping code you can probably get in the $40 towards the blues by selling the DVDs.

Or you can just be patient and wait until closer to release date when Amazon will probably lower the price to the $19.99 range.

...and hopefully B&M stores will have them for $19.99 and Disney will give us coupons! Even the $8 upgrade coupons would make it $24 for both.

My guess is that you will be able to do that on release day with anticipated disney coupons and more than likely $19.99 release day price.

Amazon will automatically lower your order as long as it's before it ships, so it doesn't really matter.

I don't own these on DVD and I've been waiting for them to come out on Blu-ray so I'll be buying this as soon as I can find them for less than $15 each (that's my price point on Blus).

Correction: Before its release date. If it drops between ship date & release date (that happened to me once with a CD), they'll automatically refund the difference.

Yep...and then right after it ships, they will drop the price even more and refuse to issue you a refund or credit for the difference.

See my previous post (just ahead of yours). If they didn't credit you, it was because the price dropped AFTER release date.

Oh, I understand how it works. It's best to NOT preorder from Amazon IMO.

No offense to anyone, but what is the rush to preorder? I did it with UP and Monsters Inc and got burned when the price was significantly lower with coupons at a B&M and Amazon refused to match it. I ended-up refusing the package when I got it, about a week after the release by the way. Not to mention the exclusives you could get when it gets released at a B&M. Yes, the price will drop and, hopefully, Amazon will automatically lower it for you (I ended-up having to cancel and reorder several times to get the lower price), but why bother? Are you worried that it will sell out and you won't get one? I just don't see any incentives, unless you are just a loyal customer.....I guess.

I think you forgot the "" at the end of your post.

If not, you do realize it's $28 for one movie right?

At this point I am of the opinion that no blu-ray release, especially a pre-order is worth $28 IMO. We have seen time and time again that prices will almost always drop on the release date or shortly after. I have definitely learned my lesson with pre-orders.

Same here. Unless it's an online retailer exclusive, I'm not bothering with pre-orders anymore. Both titles will be ordered in quantity, so pricing (online and B&M) will be aggressive.
