Problem with Kill Zone 2

I cannot play Kill Zone 2 on my PS3 slim. I downloaded the update and got as far as the language menu. The system will not respond to any commands from the remote or the game controller. I had the same problem when I downloaded the demo from the playstation store. I don't have any problems with any other games and the latest firmware has been installed. Just wondering if any one else is having the same problem. If so were you able to fix it?

Try deleting the install and downloading it again

I'm having the same issue. I'm running v3.15 on my slim as well.

EDIT: Figured it out. U need to make sure ur using Controller 1; I was using Controller 4 before. The switch solved it for me.

This is important to realize as well for lots of games. Controllers can be numbered 1-7, and most games do not recognize all ports. I'm not aware of any that work with a controller numbered 5-7, and there are some (as you discovered) which do not work beyond controller #1.
