Anyone planning any New Year Resolutions concerning blu-rays?

I have one. I am focus nothing but blu-ray movies for a year. Usually I buy alot of TV Shows but I am gonna put my focus on mainly blu-ray movies.

I think about what I would watch more. Pop in a 2 hour movie or an entire season of a show. It seems more of a advantage more me to collect more movies.

According to comments from Jeff Kleist and just a feel in general I get the feeling that studios for the most part are going to scale back on catalog releases due to poor sales.

Your feeling is off. Some catalog titles sell better than others - just as they did on SDVD. Contrary to what is being said, as the install base grows so will sales.
Additionally, catalog sales do not end in the first or second week after release - that's why they are catalog. There are so many other factors to be considered as well.

little early for this thread.. i want to make it through Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas before i start thinking about New Years Resolutions.. but to play along no i usually dont make any Resolutions regarding a hobby..
