HAs anybody checked this limited price of for the most awesome sounding receiver i have ever heard.

Grab this puppy if you can!!

I cant. i am in malaysia. Amazon doesnt ship it there.

Great Price!! Looks like its at that price on several sites. Wonder why Yamaha's flagship is so cheap right now? I've been looking at receivers in the 2000.00 price range, then this baby showed up.

I remember a similar deal on the SC-07 about a year ago. It was going for just above $1000 on Amazon. It only lasted about two weeks and then went back over $2000. If I was in the market for a new receiver I would run not walk to this deal.

Looks like it's been discontinued. That was pretty quick, for a flagship, I mean. The unit only had 2 years on the market. I wonder if Yamaha has a replacement or if the Z7 will take that spot?

Good price and yess it has been discontinued, i would still pass on this one i owned Yamaha and didn't like the sound, i found them to be very thin sounding.
