hey all, finally got around to taking some pics of my home theater room setup. while i am not complete yet with some movie posters and pictures on the walls. also in the market for a new speaker setup as well. enjoy and share your thoughts.

Looks great Ryan!

Would you mind explaining what differences you noticed between the Pioneer and the Onkyo? I'm debating staying in the Onkyo family when I upgrade or switching to a Pioneer Elite myself.

well for one i got more power in the elite over my onkyo 606 (90w vs 110w) the sound right away was more clean sounding. its hard to describe, its like the sound was muffled maybe a small fraction. picture maybe a thin towel infornt of every speaker and thats what you were use to listening to and then the towel is taken away and it was adjusted.

i watched transformers 2 bedfore my set up change and it was great. now i upgraded everything (new 58"sammy plasma, new receiver, BD player, new speaker wires.) did a calibration through the receiver.

then yesterday i put in transformers 2 again and man what a difference. its like i had been missing something and here i was thinking my system rocked before, well now it rocks even more and i have not even upgraded my speakers yet

scored 2 matching reclining love seats with consoles in the middle for 2 cups and storage for remotes they were only used a few times and they need to move, so got them both for $600. guy paid $1800 for them less than 5 months ago .

they are made of microfiber (scotchguarded) and the bottoms are brown leather. i went and looked at them and they look brand new. put a deposit and going to get them both on sunday.

i excited as my wife and I have been looking for some good home theater/ love seats for our HT room. finally a great deal!!

Awesome Deal Ryan, even Moreso that you them pretty much Brand NEW for $600 -- So dumb question time: Your pics look like Two sets (4 Seats in total) of the chairs. Is that correct or am I reading your info wrong? Also, is there a way to make the photos Larger somehow? I Know they're incredible chairs & just want to get a better look at them. Let me guess, you will when you get them in your place, right?

i will be taking better pics when i get them in my setup. these are the pics from the craigslist ad that he took to sell them. i will take more after i get them, sorry for the bad pics, its all i had.

yes there are 2 seperate love seats. they are both identical and i will be using both of them in my HT setup. also doing alot of upgrades to my setup. last thing is a speaker upgrade. i have added some really nice home theater decor such as framed movie posters and mini framed posters, a few disney items, framed pic from star wars of darth vader

its all coming together well and when its complete i will be adding some good pics. thanks for the comments, i am syked!!!

Ok okay--very nice then. 2 sets of pretty much NEW Incredibly beautiful looking & well made comfy-looking HT Chairs for 4 lucky asses (<<<----NO pun Intended!) -- Look forward to seeing some updated pics Ryan', congrats on a serious Steal!

hey guys, just added some new pics of the PSB speaker package i bought today. i am so excited about this setup, man have i been working hard auditioning speakers for the past month or so and even auditioning some speakers at ppl's homes. but i finally decided on a 5 speaker setup from PSB

i bought a pair of T6 image towers, C5 image center and a pair of S5 image surrounds. i will still use my cambridge soundworks P1000 powered sub for now and i still have a pair of CSW S300 surrounds for my back surrounds. i have not calibrated them yet, but for the heck of it i threw in master & commander for a few minutes and WOW i so much felt like i was on that ship, it was amazing. these speakers rock!! and i am so happy with my purchase. anyways got to add this to the PSB thread in the speaker forum. those guys have been a help and patient with all my questions. thanks again guys
