I just stumble upon this listing on Amazon. It looks like Dr. Horrible is coming to Blu-ray on May 25th. Woot!

Cover seems to indicate a possible slipcover, wait and see. Definite buy anyway:

I remember there were some hints on the Dr Horrible twitter a while back. Nice to see that it's actually coming, now I can finally buy it!

Weird that we still don't know which studio is taking care of this blu-ray ...

How 'bout that, I just now finished watching Season 2 of "The Guild" on DVD right now before coming on to check out the boards here. Definitely Day 1 purchase for me!! Thanks, OP.

This kind of surprises me... Does anyone know how this was originally shot?

I seriously doubt on HD cameras... but maybe Whedon shot on film?

I bought the DVD... but am skeptical if this is something that would actually be of higher quality on Blu.

It was shot HD video. No studio is handling it, it's an independant production. More info likely tied into the announcement of Joss's next project soonish. It shuld be fine though

I admire Joss Wheadon for his creativity in Firefly and Serenity. But I have not yet seen this, I just found out about this project three weeks ago, and now it's released on BD, I'll surely buy this!

I think Joss Whedon is a brilliant man that has mad some of my favorite shows of all time and Dr Horrible is no exception. Anyone who is fan of one of shows owes it to themselves to buy this.
