Besides its totally not worth it. For 50 Bucks you get a 5 in 1 media card slot, 40GB, and Wi-Fi.

I was thinking of looking for a used PS3. I figured around $350 for a 20GB one or $400 for a 60GB one. But then I was browsing for movies in Frys on Saturday and noticed they had an offer for 2 free movies (Casino Royale and Hellboy only) and it got me thinking that by buying new at $500 I would get 7 movies and the warranty would definitely be valid (not sure if they are transferable). I did have to pay sales tax, but I was there and it was convenient, so I picked up a PS3 as a player for my bedroom (I already have one in my theater room). Since I already have most of the 7 movies I'll end up selling them most of them, but still seemed to beat buying used for me.

Yeah, if you're getting one for the bedroom, then it's a good idea to have wifi. As for the 5 free movie offer.... blah... most of them really suck. I'd just buy them on E-bay for about $10, as that is what those overly-abundant titles will be going for once everyone starts getting them in 6 to 8 weeks. And you could pick what you wanted.

I'd be a lot more excited about it if they had not categorized the choices in such a customerless way.
