Looks very nice. My only suggestion would be to wall mount the TV and get the center channel on top of the cabinet. You'll thank me for that suggestion.

Wall mount...center on top. I'd get a bigger tv stand or a/v rack also for all your equipment. The xbox in tight corners like that might be a rrod waiting to happen.

I think I'm going to pass on the wall mounting because I'm only in this place for another year tops. Besides, my center won't look correct vertically mounted on that stand, which would require moving the TV higher on the wall than it should be (The CS1 is a monster). If I were wall mount it, I'd just sit the center vertically on the floor, then put an AV stand (or rack) off to the left or something.

[Entering Soapbox]Another reason, is that I'm the pickiest person about wall mounting (I hate it unless it's done right). Most wall mounted setups on this forum I dislike as they are not done to my standards. Wall mounting a TV, then having an AV rack or stand beneath it is incorrect. In-fact, all you are doing is pushing the TV back towards the wall more (losing viewing distance), and having other crap stand out in front of it (upstaging your picture). Theoretically, the only thing that should be in front of a wall mounted TV is the center speaker. Absolutely nothing else in sight. AV rack again goes off to the very very side or in another room. Thanks for the replies.

Nice set-up. If I may throw in my opinion, is there any way you can raise your surrounds so that they are at about ear level? I think it would improve your surround sound a good bit, as it appears they are partially blocked by the couch. Otherwise, that room is a nice size and you've done a good job in there.

Also, if you could build a subwoofer, that would pretty interesting. I want to make a sub some day down the road myself.

There you go. It's missing some speakers, but you have the right idea.

As for why you should not mount your center horizontally, you should read up on:
