the headphones are the seienhiesser 120 wireless ones and i have a sony BDV E370 home theater system. the bluray player that all the speakers are connected to only have an audio input rca ports but the headphones are audio input so you would need rca audio outputs to use them. the only other audio outputs i have are on the HDTV, the digital audio output port. but i wanted to use my BD player to use the headphones with. im not sure what to do, is there any kind of input to output converter or something i can do so i can use the headphones?

D/A converter
D/A converter w/ Optical cable ...you will need to set your Bluray player to decode into 2.0 PCM! I use this converter for my Sennheiser 120 from the TV optical out on my bedroom TV. Very clean signal. ![]() Last edited by crackinhedz; 12-18-2012 at 11:41 PM. |

After further research, your Bluray player system only has "inputs"...the only output would be HDMI to the TV...so you would have to connect the D/A converter through your TV's optical out.
In the Bluray player settings you would need to set: BD Audio Mix = On Audio Output = Speaker + HDMI (this will force 2 channel PCM to the TV which is what you need) So now, you can listen to your Bluray and cable/satelite box from your headphones through the TV.
