United Kingdom Question on Bourne Trilogy From UK

i want to order the bourne trilogy from the UK amazon website beacause its way cheaper, its only 30 bucks in US dollars. but my question is hows the PQ/AQ on it? is it the same as the US version? also is there anything bad about these discs like errors or dialogue or anything? beacause i heard that part 2 and 3 automaticlly have subtitles on them and you cannot take them off, is that true?????????

1. The original burned-in subtitles have been replaced with player generated subtitles.
2. The video bit-rate is lower on each one due to the numorous language options included on each.
3. Thicker UK cases.

Other than that same masters and extras as the US release.

ok i see, but does the movie play mandatory using subtitles or can you take them off? or are you just talking about when someone in the movie says something in a different language?

The location cue subtitles that appear at the bottom left of the screen like: "Paris, France 0400 GMT" have been replaced with player generated versions. Same goes for when a non-English speaker is talking. The original subtitles that provided English translations of what is being said have been replaced with player generated versions.

This is done so if someone were to choose a subtitle other than English then the location cues and non-English dialogue are the only subtitles on screen without the "clutter" of the original English ones causing confusion.

Everyone I've heard speak of this trilogy (and purchased it from Amazon UK) have loved it and spoke of no problems enough to convince me to buy it. Hopefully will be getting it in the next two or three days. That IS one great price.

I had the UK DVD and couldn't stand the player generated subtitles. Evidently the Blu-ray Discs have better styling but I have the US HD DVDs with the proper subtitles. I have yet to replace them with the Blu-rays but I am going to get the US releases regardless of the great price for the UK box set.

It's a steal indeed. I bought it for 23 euros while it costs 59 euros (!!!) over here in the Netherlands!
I love the movies!
