I never understood the hatred toward Bartman. It really wasn't his fault the Cubs choked. The were already blowing the game for themselves way before that happened. I guess he was the easiest to blame.

The Steve Bartman hate was ridiculous at the time. I doubt Moisés Alou would've even caught it. <---kinda goes to show the running joke about Cubs fans knowing nothing about the game and just going to Wrigley Field to get hammered like a college frat party and text on their cell phones.

Agreed. If the Cubs were to move to a different city, I would say over 50% of the "fans" that go to Wrigley wouldn't be upset that the team is gone, just that they have to go somewhere else to get wasted.
