Question Blu-Ray Testimonials

The question is two-fold:

A. How did you come to blu-ray?
B. Who was the last ignorant person you talked to about Blu-Ray? And how did it go?

A. I bought the PS3 in May of this year after co-workers talked me into it. I researched HD DVD and Blu before I jumped in and I believe I made the most logical choice. (I think before I invest).

B. My last encounter was with my friend Dustin (in the band Thrice if you've heard of 'em?) and his wife and baby. My fiance and I were at the mall with her pre-adolescent cousins (who I've already converted to Blu) to check in on Disney's Blu-ray Magical No Mystery Tour. I saw Dust and Shadlie eating at Del Taco and we got talking about why we were at the mall. And that ushered me into salesman mode where the information just wouldn't stop coming out of my mouth. I was almost embarrassed by how much I knew. He kept referring to HD DVD as HDTV And didn't know exactly what Blu-ray was though he has heard of it and was aware of the war. As I was talking Shadlie kept looking at me and nodding her head in interest. And Dustin busted out a bunch of 'oh...huh...didn't know that's. I'm pretty sure I left them pretty convinced that Blu-Ray was the way to go if they ever considered it. I think a friend's own testimony speaks volumes for a product. And that's that.
