Default Adventure Time Seasons One and Two (2010-2011)

Apparently Warner Home Video's releasing the complete second season of Adventure Time on Blu-ray June 4th along with an HD release of the first season!

I'm a bit irritated since I just caved in and bought the season 1 DVD, but I'll live since this is GREAT news!

Started watching this show premiered but lost track. Will probably pick these up to start watching again, my wife liked as well. Just wish they came with a Finn hat

OMG, I never thought this would ever happen!

Now, if The Legend of Korra could just be officially announced for Blu-ray, then I'll be even more happy! We need more western TV animation on Blu-ray, especially more recent series that have been broadcasted in HD and are lacking a BD release.

The fact that the BD listing on Amazon was taken down shortly after it was put up has me a little worried.

I wouldn't be that worried. Blu-Ray disc will eventually replace DVD in the market, and the Blu market share continues to increase at great margins every year. It's only a matter of time before we see HDTV shows properly released on Blu-Ray as the normal.

First I have to say its baffling how Cartoon Network releases their shows on home media. The selected eps released are dumb. Also what about season 3 and season 4 they are already been released if I'm not mistaken why aren't those being released?

Maybe staggerin allows the parents time to buy a gift for their kid without breaking the bank for all of them. Or for adults it does the same but brings itself to attention again whenever a new one comes out.

If you want season 3 or 4 real bad, check amazon for digital videos.

Only Season 1 has been released on DVD. This is the debut of Season 2 on any home video format and the four other releases for this show (My Two Favorite People, It Came From the Nightosphere, Jake vs. Me-Mow, and Fionna and Cake) are compilation discs.

Really exciting news How likely are these to be region free (or at least region B compatible)? I'm not very optimistic of these ever coming to the UK, since the first season on DVD hasn't even been announced.

Lets hope CN decides to release season 3 sometime this year as well. Other wise we might only get one season on Blu a year.

I can't wait for this to get released (this is one of the few recent animated shows that I actually love).
