I could see that happening, but in typical Mill Creek fashion, they'd probably put 2-3 movies on some discs, and might omit some extras, so the individual releases might be better. Plus the individual releases are very cheap and have pretty great artwork

Seven was released by Kino. Stacey is probably going to be difficult to get to home video.

I wouldn't sleep on these individual releases. If they ever get around to a complete set, Mill Creek will no doubt drop the extras and put 2-3 movies on one disc so that they can offer a cheaper price.

I'm fairly new to the whole Andy Sidaris scene and his Triple-B films, so am I correct in understanding that the 12 films listed below are all part of the same series? They are all sequels to the first film; Malibu Express, or are they just films with a common theme; like Edgar Wright's Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy?

Between 1985 and 1998, Sidaris directed 12 films which he called the Triple-B (Bullets, Bombs and Babes) series.

The series, which is also known as the L.E.T.H.A.L Ladies or the Girls, Guns and G-Strings collection, consist of:

1. Malibu Express (1985)
2. Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987)
3. Picasso Trigger (1988)
4. Savage Beach (1989)
5. Guns (1990)
6. Do or Die (1991)
7. Hard Hunted (1992)
8. Fit to Kill (1993)
9. Enemy Gold (1993)
10. The Dallas Connection (1994)
11. Day of the Warrior (1996)
12. Return to Savage Beach (1998)

It's been awhile since I watched the whole series but I remember everything from Malibu Express to Fit to Kill are all connected.

Enemy Gold and Dallas Connection seemed to be the start of a new series of films but ultimately characters from that appeared in Return to Savage Beach so...

It's all connected and it's all a mess. A big beautiful boob filled mess.

This is taken from the Wikipedia page on Sidaris:

"Although the series featured recurring characters, continuity between films was not a priority and it was common for an actress who played a villain (and was killed off) in one film to re-appear in a subsequent film as a hero."

If you're new to the series, you'll no doubt be tickled by the sheer number of roles that actor Rodrigo Obregon plays throughout the series. Sometimes he's playing the brother of the bad guy that was killed in the previous film; sometimes a different villainous role altogether. Several actors and actresses play a bad guy/girl role, only to come back in a later film as a good guy, sometimes with the same (or similar) character name!

The point is, most of the films are self-contained, simply featuring some recurring characters. I haven't seen them in a while, but I'm pretty sure the story line of Hard Hunted follows the preceding film, Do Or Die. But that's an exception in the overall series. Like many other directors, Sidaris had a stock company of actors he enjoyed working with (and who could deliver), and that company evolved over time, with some actors dropping out, only to be replaced by new faces (and, um, bodies).

Malibu Express is a self-contained film. The plot device of using Molokai Cargo as a front for undercover agents begins with Hard Ticket To Hawaii. Since Mill Creek are releasing the films chronologically, anyway, you're best off just watching them in order, even though it's not absolutely necessary.

They ran out of room for "Rocket/Grenade Launchers", "Bad Martial Arts Fight Scenes", "Gratuitous Shower/Bath Scenes", "Destructive Remote Control Toys", and "Mediocre Beachside Cafe Entertainment" (although "Sappy Songs Sung By Cynthia" is a large subset of that group).
