Default Need Help/Suggestions on Final Build

Gents, I've done some research over the past couple of weeks and come up with some configurations to upgrade my current sh*tty audio system. I would like your input and suggestions.

My current set up is a Panasonic TH50PZu, 80G PS3 fatboy, Xbox, Logitech Z-680 and SD D*sh Tivo. I bought the Logitechs for around $120 around 3 yrs ago and they provide serviceable sound for movies 5.1 (decode DTS) but are terrible for music.

At first, I thought that the cheapest decent system I could find would suffice but then the bug struck and the budget crept slowly upwards. After reading many of the threads on here I see this is a common affliction or is that addiction? Anyway here is the first system I came up with. It's pretty much the undeclared winner of the "Entry Level Home Theater Challenge." All prices include shipping.

(I)
Polk RM 6750 - $165 (Ebay using Bing)
Yamaha HTR6240 - $182 (Ebay using Bing)
Total $347

I figured this would be a decent complete system that would give me loseless audio and would be adequate for music listening. It should at least outperform my current Logitechs. After perusing through countless lower end receiver specs (looked mostly at power consumptions and weight), I came to the conclusion that all of these were pretty much equally underpowered and what mattered most was features and price. I felt the Yamaha was the best choice but other receivers that would suffice include; Sony DH700 and the Pioneer VSX519V-K.

All this investigating had me feeling that I could go slightly higher on my budget and improve the performance. On to choice two.

(II)
Energy Take 5 Classic $150 (Newegg, can be got for $119 on occasion)
Acoustic Audio HD Sub10 $150 (Ebay using Bing)
Yamaha HTR6240 - $182 (Ebay using Bing)
Total $482

Just thought I'd throw a HTIB into the mix for choice three. This one, I feel, is the best bang for the buck in this area.

(III)
Onkyo 6200 $473 (Ebay from Accessories for Less Bing)
Total $473

Finally, the system I'm probably going to go with. Choice four.

(IV)
Mordaunt Short Ms300 $374 (Accessories for Less)
Bic America F-12 $200
Denon 1910 $306 (Ecost, new from Electronic Expo $407 with coupon code)
Total $884

I didn't want to spend more than $900 so this was my limit but I could, oh so easily, keep going. In fact, when I started I told myself that I wouldn't spend more than $400 but I don't think that will happen now. As for the choices in system four, I felt they provided the elusive best bang for the buck. I really like the ED A2-300 but the extra $150 was a strong deterrent (I may change my mind on this one). My final choice on receivers came down to a decision between the Marantz 4003, HK AVR354 and the Denon. If wasn't for the multitude of issues that the owners of the 354's are dealing with I would have gone with that one in a heartbeat. Video issues are especially troubling to me as I just spent the time calibrating my Pana and both the Marantz and HK are replete with these. The Denon has great real specs (power consumption and weight), excellent video processing and lots of very happy customers.

Something Else

Ok let me know what you think.
