need help! - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, i just watched a blu ray movie before, and it was set to bitstream, and i selected Uncompressed PCM, and on my receiver display it said: Multi channel PCM. Can u get uncompressed PCM, if the audio output is bitstream or linear PCM? and which is best? because iv tryed on both bitstream and linear PCm, and they both seem to output uncompressed PCM.

well, the issue is, is that no player will output a high definition bitstream signal.

hmm this is just wierd then, i tryed switching from DD 5.1 to U PCM over bitstream and it really does sound like U PCM, and the same when i do it over linear PCM.
