Why no Caddyshack on Blu-ray?

One of the 1st HD-DVD's I bought was "Caddyshack" and the picture was not good. I'm wondering why WB hasn't released it on Blu-ray yet with a nice new carefully done transfer? I traded in all my WB HD-DVD's for Blu-rays in the RED to BLU program but this one isn't out yet. Thanks JC

I think the PQ on the HD-DVD is pretty good

This year is the 30th anniversary. Maybe Universal has plans for it.

Great movie! I would love to see this on Blu-ray. It's notable not only because it's one of only a few examples of Chevy Chase actually being funny, but because you get to see how truly funny Rodney Dangerfield can be.

Maybe WB will release both Caddyshack and Caddyshack II in one of those new double packs. I certainly hope not, but it could be a possibility.

Egad I hope not. I don't mind having Presumed Innocent sharing space with Frantic, but it would be blasphemy to have Caddyshack II share the same disc as the original movie.

Agree Caddyshack does NOT really exist. Its a totally different unknown has nothing to with Caddyshack,disgrace to mankind of a movie. Just the REAL only one Caddyshack. JC
