YES!!!! FINALLY!!!!

Now I can platinum my very first game, Burnout Paradise, once I get the two camera trophies!

Once I Larry David my way through the insane hard plastic case that the camera came in, I'm golden Pony Boy!

Yep, all you need is a mugshot and a smugshot. Think it's the only thing I've ever used my PSEye on!!

There's two trophies that are dependant on the camera.

1. Smugshot/mugshot
2. All the people in a party must take a picture.

But the only one that's necessary for the Platinum is the Smug/Mugshot.

The Plat is not dependant on the addon content trophies.

JUST GOT IT!

I bought a PSEye at Kmart for $9.99 but I don't think I'll ever use it.

Not sure it would work with my projector setup. Just couldn't leave it there for $10.

you don't have to do ANY of the party stuff for a platinum. also you could have got a $4 ps2 eye and got this trophy.

I know, it was a joke. Awhile back a clip came out (video) of him doing his radio show and some woman called in and just kept going on and on and on and he was OBVIOUSLY annoyed, and she was attacking him and he just spazzed out and started screaming "GET OFF MY PHONE!" ha ha ha. Funny stuff.

Getting mine with the kids Eye Pet at Christmas. Apart from Burnout and Eye Pet, what other games and applications can you use it for?

There are a bunch of games on the Eye folder on PSN that are just for the peripheral.

The two I bought are Aquatopia, which is basically a fishtank (the fish follow your movements around) and Tori Emaki, which is a 'game' in which you navigate a flock of crows (?) around a massive japanese-art-painting (think Okami).

Both are basically glorified screensavers and don't last long, but are still neat. The youngins love aquatopia.

Check out the PS Eye section of the PS Store. The selection is a bit limited at the moment, but they're pretty cheap. Free Eye Create app, a poker game, a lemmings-like game where you guide creatures to safety, one where you roll a ball around and a few interactive screensaver type thingies. There are also a couple videos showing the development of the wand tech.

The card game Eye of Judgement was also one of the first games to use it, and can often be found bundled with the PS Eye at clearance prices. I *think* the SingStar games and Zen Pinball support the PS Eye as well, but I don't own them. I'm pretty sure I saw PS Eye functionality in the Zen Pinball trailer.

If you see the PS Eye at a good price, go for it! The prices will probably go back up towards MSRP in the spring when the wand and new games for it are released.
