I am currently looking at replacing my Dynex 42" 1080p with something better built and higher quality. I have been eye-balling 2 standard LCD TV's for my size/price range:
Sony EX500 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+B...&skuId=9761226 Samsung C630 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+...&skuId=9791235 But I am also wondering if I should just go a notch higher and get the LED lit sets. The new Sharp Quattrons are out, and they have the 40" LED on sale for $1100. I like how thin the sets are and how nice the picture is, but is it worth the price premium over LCD? |

Plus its really hard to tell a picture difference at the store, when they simply have some BB ads running on them. If it was between the Samsung/Sony LCD, I am leaning towards the 630C. The reviews seem solid. But the Quattron is intriguing, but with it being rather new there arent many reviews available or personal experiences.
