Alot of us have dipped many times on certain movies, especially now thanks to blu-ray. What movie do you own the most copies of across all formats?
Mine would probably be the Fifth Element. i own it on: 1) LaserDisc 2) DVD 3) Superbit DVD 4) Blu-ray 5) UMD |

Likewise. I have the extreme edition and ultimate edition DVDs, and a nice box set VHS edition. Have yet to get it on BR due to mediocre reviews. Is it worth it? Or will we see a cleaned up remaster eventually?

That would be 2001. I bought my first VHS copy (pan and scan) for $60 when I bought my first VHS recorder ($1300 - ouch!) in 1980, then the widescreen VHS version, the laserdisc version, DVD, "remastered" DVD, collector's edition DVD (with soundtrack on CD and 35mm movie frame), and finally Blu-ray. Doubters (like the oft-mentioned reviewer from Yahoo) would be well-advised to compare the 2001 blu-ray to any other format - the superiority is immediately obvious.

The Evil Dead series, no doubt. I have the blu-ray of "II" course, but on DVD I had several copies of all three movies in this series. Book of the Dead versions, Ultimate versions, Special Editions, Limited Editions, Limited Edition tins - I'm not really sure what I was thinking. Oh yeah, now I remember - "gotta have them all!!!"
I also had more editons than I needed of the "Living Dead" Romero series. |
