Default Ripped off after paying by Amazon Gift Card

Would Amazon help me by reversing charges? Or do they stay out of stuff like this?

Someone noted in a disputed trade thread that they had successfully filed a claim with the credit card company that they bought the Amazon GC with, so you may want to try that if you haven't already.

As I understand it blu-ray.com no longer wants transactions taking place in the trading forum that are paid by Amazon GC. This is probably why. I'm glad you guys were able to get your issues resolved successfully though.

I believe either Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Gift are not approved anymore. Just watching out for the buyers. There have been far too many screwjobs around here lately. Be careful out there everyone.

It's good you got your money back but what bothers me is that Visa is out x amount of dollars. They gave you your money back but they also had to let Amazon keep theirs. So your scammer still got paid. You got paid. Visa came out of this at a loss. That sucks. I hope the person that ripped you off eats it.

I double checked and you're correct. No more Amazon gift cards or Paypal gifts are supposed to be used as payment.

It does suck that Visa got ripped off, but that's part of good customer service.

well if amazon gc & paypal are no longer accepted, what other forms of payment are there?

and good job getting your $$$ back.
who cares if visa got shafted. they charge 10-25% interest rates to every customer every month.

as a tip.....dont buy from anyone who hasnt been on the site less than 6 months, person that doesnt post a lot or someone with a low trading score.
