Default Mesrine or Public Enemies?
Both Mesrine and Public Enemies were based on real-life criminals - Jacques Mesrine and John Dillinger respectively. Both had similar story threads - Bank robberies, prison break-outs, doomed romances. And both had strong lead performances from Vincent Cassel and Johnny Depp. Personally, I was a little disappointed with Public Enemies which I saw first. The Mesrine films however surprised me and I enjoyed them a lot more.

Which did you prefer?
