Home theater audio help!
Okay, here's the sitch:
I have a PS3 hooked into an Onkyo HT-S3200 HTiB. The reciever from this perticular HTiB is pass-thru only. I had to use optical cables in conjunction with HDMI, which seemed odd to me as it defeats the purpose of the "all in one" HDMI cable. When I hit the select button while watching a blu, it says "multi-channel" on the top. I was looking at some screen shots of movies in other people's galleries and noticed that it says 5.1 surround on the top. Am I doing something wrong? It sounds like I'm getting surround sound. I would appreciate any advice or info you guys could give me. |
