I wanted Inglorious Basterds to win, but I know Avatar has a more likely chance to snag the Best Picture award than any of the others.

I clicked 'Avatar' because thats what I think, not what I want. The Hurt Locker was the best film out of that lot, such a gripping, real story.

If im not mistaken a Sci Fi film has never won BEST PICTURE so if Avatar takes the award I'll be extremely happy cause this film genre or category really deserves to be acknowledged for once & what better way than to start with this ground-breaking film

I don't think AVatar will win, I think Hurt Locker has much more of a chance. Rarley does the box office giant actually take home the big prize, Titanic was the exception and that was a historical period piece.

I would give it to District 9, but I know better than to get my hopes up.

Do they release the vote count after the awards? would be interesting to see how District 9 and Inglorious Basterds placed... 2nd? 4th?

I really want Basterds to win, but Avatar will probably win. I liked Avatar, but Basterds was the best movie of last year!
