Default Please help me with an HDTV...need help ASAP...please!!!

I am looking to get a new HDTV for my living room. This is my primary home theater viewing space. I have a 42 panny S1 in the bedroom. We don't watch a lot of tv in there, so it's not as big of a deal what we got. We just picked up this one because of a great BF deal and panansonic's great rep.

Ok, I'm replacing an old CRT 57" and I like that viewing size.

My choices are a 58" panny S1. BB has a deal right now for $1599 and they deliver and take away my old tv at no charge. Amazon is matching with no tax, but I could go through Bing and get the taxes covered at BB too.

The S1 does have color issues. I'm not a REAL videophile and don't notice every little thing, but I wonder if it will be an issue on a bigger screen that we use for almost everything, even though it's fine in the bedroom. The S1 also doesn't handle 24p, but I've never noticed a problem on my bedroom tv.

The other choice is the 54" g10. This model has the THX mode and the reviewers claim this helps with colors a lot. It also handles the 24p from what I've read.

Sears has this for $1499 right now and I could also offset taxes with Bing. No free delivery and I would be going down in size from the 57".

Also, if people who really have these models know, if the differences between the two aren't really that big of a deal, I'd be getting the larger size for only $100 more.

I'm really conflicted and I think the sale may be ending soon.

PLEASE any feedback about what to do would be much appreciated.
