Default Pop corn machine

This may sound odd, or maybe not. But Im interested in purchasing a functional pop corn machine to go into my theater room. I have no idea where to start, so hoping to get some info here. I also dont want to spend too much, probably a couple hundred at max.

Any owners here that can provide some insight, is it a bad idea?

Try Costco. I like them because they have black. It's a nice alternative to the red ones everyone else has. $269.00

I was walking around my local ShopKo last week and I had seen that their theater popcorn machines were on clearance. They are all table top versions though, with one being fairly larger than the other. I want to say $150 or less for the big one, then closer to $80 for the smaller version. They are the red and look retro.

My parents have had one for more than a decade now, and it hardly ever gets used. They are really good for making large quantities of popcorn and large quantities of mess. If you often have a large group of friends over for a movie night, then it may be used frequently enough. Of course, even if it's not used, it still looks pretty cool.

I bought the red version of the Costco machine, and I love it. It really helps set the theme for the home theater room and movie night when it's popping.

You can see it in my gallery here:
