Lol. Correct me if I am wrong.. but I assume this is the official hd-dvd forums?

What a joke.. they have like 12 guests and no members online right now. At the same moment these forums have over 70 members and over 200 guests online!

Anyone else find this humorous?

Heheheh I've been on these and it is laughable. I mean the posts I made months ago are still up in the top 10. And they are just calling people names at this point.

Sad really. It has no effect of the HD-DVD community cause there are like 3 active members there. Maybe I should try asking AVS stuff and see how long it takes to get banned. :P

Neither are "official" forums, and a lot of the HD DVD people avoid the hd-dvd.com forums because (note: this is what I've heard from them, I haven't personally fact checked it) they're run by the same person as the blu-ray.com site.

any hd-dvd sites equivalent of www.blu-ray.com?

LMAO they had 12 total users, all guests, at the time of this post and we had over 225 users about 180 guests and 45 members

A year ago it was a nice idea for folks that wanted to discuss something without all the BS. The admins here decided to put it up for laughs.

I politely said back then even that it was a redundancy since several of the "large" AV forums had basically become MS and HD-DVD havens anyways.

It was true back then and it most certainly is true now. It's needless and redundant despite being a nice idea with good intentions.

I'm surprised they didn't shut it down a while back.
