wonderer99 Blu-ray Samurai Member since:Apr 2010	Main characters you hate in films you love. I love the Exorcist. It's a pinnacle of horror and hugely influencial. It still has the power to shock and I love the film. I hate the mother played by Ellen Burstyn. She comes across as obnoxious from the beginning and is arrogant and outright rude to many of the characters. An element of fear for what her daughter is going through can explain some of it but not all. I just really dislike her as a character. So are there any movies you love in which you really hate a main character?
