I've been doing a lot of research and such on both releases of The Descent in AU and the UK. The US edition looks fantastic, but I just don't like that it's so bright when it's in a cave.
The UK version will be cheaper for me to get though, I think. What are the main differences between the two releases? I don't watch extras, so I don't care that the UK has more than the AU release. Is I care about is audio and picture. I have a region free player, so it doesn't matter that the UK version is locked. I see that the AU release has a DTS-HD MA 5.1 mix and the UK release has a DTS-HD MA 5.1 and a PCM 5.1. Which release sounds better? (More aggressive, more clear, etc.) I looked online and looked at screenshots and these two releases looked very alike, but that's just on my computer. Does this hold true for watching the 2 on a 1080P screen? I just wanted to get some more opinions and such about the UK release and for those of you who have seen both versions. |
