New power cord review

hey all, well i said after i get my power cord ans hook it up i would start a new thread and review it. well i got this brand new tara labs prism special power cord and i included a link to the exact cord here: Tara Labs Prism AC Special Power Cable - Bryant standard 15 AMP IEC

well the cord is amazing and very well built. i unhooked my power cord from the pio elite receiver and was shocked at how thin it was compared to this tara labs cord this one is atleast 3 times thicker if not 4 times. i plugged it in and powered up my system. the thing i noticed first is a slightly cleaner sound with tv shows, even my center channel sounded better for dialog.

then i watched a blu movie last night with my daughter (the dark crystal) from 1982. kinda an old movie but it still looked fantastic on blu and the sound was good. i tell you with all the upgrades my sound has been getting better and better and this cord just did it again.

now does it make a huge difference, probably not. but i did notice a difference. also i know my receiver has a 10 times better power cord running power to it now.

overall i am happy with my purchase, it didnt break the bank, my receiver is getting a much cleaner better power into it now and the cord is shielded from other cables for humming. so far i noticed a small difference in sound for tv and blu movies, also a slightly better, clearer sound from my center for dialog.

this is just my opinion and i am not going to get into the technics of the power cords guts or how it was built, whats in it? all i know is that it is a hell of alot better than the cord they give you with the pioneer elite i got and yes i did notice a difference after connecting it. hope this helps others who are thinking about getting one. as long as you dont spend more than you can afford
