Did anyone manage to find this? I went to HMV (sold out), Blockbuster (had 2 copies and sold out same day, not getting anymore in), another Blockbuster (didn't receive copies) and Tesco (again, didn't receive copies).
Where did you get yours? Looks like I'm gonna have to order online... |

I got mine at HMV in Exeter last Tuesday, where they had hundreds of copies of the regular Blu-ray scattered all around the shop, but not one copy of the Superset. I had to go and ask someone if they had any left, and I was lucky enough to get one of only two copies left in the store.
Your best bet now would still be to order your copy online. |

The Asda near me is a few miles away. Looks like I'll be ordering it online. This is quite the bummer since I have quite a few HMV giftcards that are burning in my pocket. Oh, well, there's always Paranormal Activity in March...
Thanks, guys. ![]() |

That's helpful!
![]() On release day they had multiple standard Up blu's but no Supersets in my local Tesco, and in my local HMV at Redditch they only had a few. Seems a bit silly, the superset is just a couple of quid more but you get so much extra content! I really don't know why Disney went down the dual release route - it just adds to consumer confusion, it didn't last when they started releasing DVDs so why are they trying it again? Matt ![]() |

Forum members may miss something of interest because it is hidden under an umbrella heading. While I appreciate a forum could be overrun with different threads about a common theme (so we need to apply a little common sense), there is also a case for starting a new thread, which although it may relate to a previous one; is important enough to stand alone as it may have something new to say, something just slightly off topic, something someone considers warrants attention by itself or something that someone can offer help with that may have easily have been missed had it simply been attached to an old ongoing discussion. Besides, if a new thread had been started that clearly belonged to another thread, is it not a matter for a moderator to comment on and reposition in its proper place? When I commented 'That's helpful' I thought you were a moderator as the comment you made struck me as such. I made my comment because you provided no link to the thread that you referred to and you didn't attach this thread to the original one. So, I thought, not really 'helpful'. Regarding the Search Engine; it isn't always reliable. I recently wanted to ask a question about a specific title and when I used the search engine, which has been helpful in the past, it came up with random suggestions which were very entertaining, but were they helpful? No! I mean you no offence in this post, BellesPrince, so please take my post in the manner it is intended. Starting new threads relating to another is occasionally necessary and the Search Engine is not a fail-safe tool. Matt ![]() Oh, Phil92, have you ordered your Up Superset or did you manage to track one down? ![]() Last edited by MattDean; 02-22-2010 at 06:19 PM. |

I just think when there is already a large thread for Disney releases it seems a bit silly to set up lots of little satellite threads, particularly when the sole purpose of those threads seem to be to discuss how difficult it was to find a title in shops.

Boys boys boys, can't we all just play nicely?
I'm annoyed with myself - I mistakenly ordered the standard edition of UP, thinking it came with 2 BDs and 1 DVD. Either I misremembered, or Amazon changed its description of the item at some point, because it's just 1 BD and 1 DVD, meaning I'm missing all the extra features (which I do actually like to watch). Guess I "need" to give the standard edition to a friend and buy the SuperSet now. |

I got my copy of the 4 disc Superset on release from my local Asda store, they had the loads of the normal DVD, the 2 disc Blu-Ray and about 10+ on the shelf of the 4 disc Superset, also all of the Blu-Rays also had the slipcovers
