This is a 2.0 capable player, I doubt that they would price it so low as to compete with non 2.0 offerings from other BDA companies.

Cheap price, cheap look, hmm. Well, forget about the latter. For Daewoo, pricing is their weapon usually. They make some decent quality products, but they're never great. This player could appeal to a certain segment of the market though.

Dude that is my post from this forum. The rumour is that Daewoo will price at $499, but nothing confirmed.

This has to be the prettiest player so far (with the exception of the new Loewe).

The Daewoo has a sexy look to it...it's spec's are right there...price should be low...but still it's a Daewoo. I wonder if Daewoo would keep up with any updates as they come out? Also I wonder how customer service will be? I do think this player will sell!

$500 is a good price for a full spec player without many competitors. Naturally, the PS/3 defines the max. Nobody but a top tier CE could probably justify a premium over the PS/3.
